Jezs' illustration work is digital, vector but often incorporating photo collage elements, he also offers a nod to his love of Lino and Silkscreen.
BA (hons) in Graphic Design, Sion Hill, Bath Spa and an MA in Communication Media (Animation) at Bower Ashton, UWE, Bristol. More recently he's studied UI/UX design but his keen love of illustration is always pulling him to make art.
'The name 'elevated pockets' for this site came whilst watching the news. I would often hear in American news casts talk about areas in war zones as 'pockets of mass destruction'. I thought it would be nice to create the opposite of that, something that spreads out and creates peace and coherence hence, 'elevated pockets'. Elevated pockets of mass coherence and realignment would be great!'.
